Okay, as I mentioned before. The one and only team who go into every World Cup with the expectations to lift the cup each and every time.
My favorite team, The Selecao; Brazil.
I've been following them closely now and it's safe to say that I'm effing worried.
Why? because of Dunga's selection. Oh yes he won the World Cup in 1994, I remember that but heck the selection is worth to be worried over.
No Pato, Ronaldinho, Adriano, Neymar, Diego and Paulo Henrique.
Pato a.k.a Duck; all I can say about him is he's young and extremely fast. It's thrilling to see him overrun any defenders but too bad, Dunga don't quite trust any youngsters just yet. He preferred to choose the players who have been consistently playing at high-levels in 4 year period since 2006.
Smart? Or simply experimental. Sheit. Pele was 17 when he won his first World Cup back in 1958 and yet you are relying on your stupid head? Damn.
That answers why he left out Neymar a.k.a Goose(wait,why the heck is all the new players is nicknamed after the anatidae family?), and Paulo Henrique because they are still young and he prefers giving the chance to older and experienced player. Bullcrapo!
And Ronaldinho; which is back in April he said he wanna lift the World Cup in 2010. I'm very sure it's gonna be pretty dull without him.
Adriano; well,he's been great in Flamengo and yet, his personal problems before this still precedes him. Sounds like Dunga is a jerk if his choice was based on that.
Finally, my hopeful dude, who can rule the middle like Wesley Sneijder did, Diego. Tremendously great but heck he was too unlucky with Juventus. And that, for a fact, suck big time.
All I have left to wish for is, just hope they can rule with Dunga's systemized football; unlike the usual samba boys, he choose to adopt them to more European way of football.
